Hello there! My name is Danica Skoric and I am an apprentice teacher at Shady Hill School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I enjoy reading fiction and writing poetry in my spare time. One of my favorite young adult fiction books is called Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan. I choose to become a teacher because I cherish the imagination of students and I want to help them cultivate curiosity and express creativity. 

I have a BA in Humanities and Cultural Studies from Dominican University of California. I am striving towards an M.Ed. in Middle School Humanities through Lesley University.
